McDonald’s(NEW YORK) — McDonald’s has stopped giving out free activity tracking bands with its Happy Meals after receiving complaints that they were irritating the skin of children who wore them.
The fast-food giant said it had received “limited reports of potential skin irritations that may be associated from wearing the band,” and has already started offering a different toy with the children’s meals.
A McDonald’s spokeswoman told USA Today the company is looking into the issue.
